I'm in a military program and the call for heme/onc attendings is very cush. Very rarely are called in the middle of the night, never have to come in. It seems like most/all emergencies can just be handled by the inpatient team and they just say "we'll let them know their pt is here in the AM".
is it the same way in the civilian sector? seems like a good lifestyle!
