Does anyone know if we'll have to know how to do math calculations with the Henderson-Hasselbalch eqation or should we know more of the general concepts behind it.

also, in specific if you look at card 192 in the biochemistry and physiology section, will we be given the solubility constant? or shoudl we be memorizing them?

thanks in advance!!

i would know how to do log of 10, 1, and 0. i think you could figure it out with the general concepts behind it. they usually provide easy numbers if they ask you to calculate anything (as they do not allow calculators) so knowing logs of the basics would be helpful. there is pretty much a guarantee that there will be a henderson-hasselbalch equation in some form on the exam. so if you want to get that one question right, i would practice calculations. if you understand the basic concepts behind it, i'm sure you could figure it out the day of the exam if you are pressed for time. just my thoughts.
