yes i know 2 great programs. This is why I'm having a very hard time ranking one over the other. Henry Ford has great pathology, really sick patients, awesome residents and staff...overall solid program but its in Detroit.

I interviewed at HCMC early in the season so my memory of it is somewhat sketchy. They got BIG named faculty, one of the best reputations in the country, great pathology as well...however I somewhat got the impression from some folks that they more anal of a program and kind of arrogant. I didn't get this impression from the interview at all but there were subtle hints of an attitude with a couple of residents I talked with. I dunno, mabey I'm overanalyzing things but it was so long ago I don't know what to think.

If anyone has some personal insight they can give about these programs, I would greatly appreciate it!! 😛

did a summer rotation at hcmc...possibly the best program i have seen and the residents there were amazingly well trained...the computer system there is awesome and makes things run so smoothly...all the residents i worked with ROCKED and i certainly didn't get the impression that they were arrogant..if i wasn't afraid of the horribly cold winters HCMC would by far be my number one...feel free to pm me if you have specific questions
