Hello,
I dont know if this is the right place where I should post this but yes... i ll take my chance.
I am a 22 year old girl and i discovered recenlty that my test was positive for hepatitis B. I am really worried and i dont know how or when i got it since i was vaccinated in 2010. I already had some tests but the appointement with the specialist is in a few days. Till now i dont know if it s acute or chronic infection. All i know is that i am HbsAg positive, anti-Hb core total positive anti-Hbe positive, Ast, alt in normal values and Hbv Dna 1,46*10(2) IU/ml. Is there any chance i might be in a recovery stage or am i an inactive carrier. I know that Iwill have that answer in a few days, but if you could help me with some prior interprétation it would be nice. I cant eat or sleep since i got the news. I feel really really bad and i have noone to talk to. Thank you for your replies and sorry for my bad english.

Speak French? just guessing from the é 😀

I am sorry about this, but I don't think that's the right place. This is more a forum for people who are pre-meds (not yet in med school). You should just google it but the best thing to do is to wait the results, you don't want to have false interpretations on the internet. A headache on the internet=tumor.

Hehe. Yes im french. Well in two days i ve read all the possible information google contains...nothing interesting for my case...thats why i ended up to this forum ^^... I guess i should wait thén... thank you for answering though 🙂

Sorry but SDN won't be able to help you for medical advice :\

The specialist will be able to answer your questions better than anyone here or the internet can.

-I don't know, more tests are needed. Sorry :sorry:
Have you considered asking your doctor where you stand? They would know more.

Edited: Sorry for posting
