I need help. I've been searching in quite a few books and can't exactly find an answer.

With herpes genitalis, is it possible to have a lesion that is painful but not visible as a vesicle or with a skin change? or is it always accompanied by some type of skin change?

It is possible to have an intraurethral herpes lesion which causes dysuria and pain (however the skin lesion is not visible b/c it is in the urethra). This would be a rare occurance to happen without other visible skin lesions present, but possible.

With Herpes, all things are possible. 😉

Yes, I think my genital herpes even caused my to score 1 SD higher than you on Step I.

Ain't medicine amazin'?
