i'm also quite interested in this 7 year optometry program.... i was wondering from the few schools that are linked with SUNY which one is bettter?
there's CUNY City college of NY and Lehigh, Providence, gettysburg... those are only a few....
i like lehigh.. but i heard that it's not relaly good in pre-med so does anyone and then someone told me that cuny city college of ny is really good...
can anyone give me thier opinion about these two undergraduate schools?

Hey, I'm in the 7-yr program with SUNY and I go to the College of NJ. I don't know about the other schools but I am very pleased with the education I have received and the tuition I am paying at TCNJ ($0! I'm in-state). I'm taking the OAT in 2 weeks... AHH!! To get into the program from high school I think an SAT score of 1240 or so was required. It's not difficult at all and if you are sure you want to be an optometrist then definitely try to get into a 7-yr program somewhere because you'll have the relief of knowing that you are guaranteed a spot at SUNY as long as you get the required OAT scores (320 in each section).

do you guys know which schools are more guaranteed? and it really doesn't matter which schools right? they right? they all have the same requirements right?
