Has anyone had any info sent to them via snail mail about the interview day? Mine is scheduled for Thursday and I haven't heard anything... I've noticed most schools sending invites via email, then more specific stuff in the regular mail (day schedule, directions, maps.. etc). Just trying to determine if I need to call them up for more info!

This has nothing to do about interview dates, but when did you submit your secondary? I received an e-mail yesterday notifying me that my application has been reviewed and has been put on hold. I'm not sure if that means that it is on hold until they can print a rejection letter or that they need more time to ponder my application.😕

For those on hold or accepted or rejected from GW:

When was your file complete at GW?

Happy Labor's Day!

I didn't get anything. Mine's net Tuesday. I am a little worried about this too.

You probably got this too though...

Ross Hall, Himmelfarb Library, Room 202*

The interview day lasts approximately three to four-and-half hours.
You will receive two interviews with Admission Committee members or
representatives of the Committee on Admissions. Usually one interview
will be with a current student. Each interview will last
approximately 25 minutes. Please be aware that interviews are blind
and your application will not be reviewed by your interviewers prior to
your interview. It is our experience that we are able to provide
essential information to your file that might otherwise be overlooked.
The day will include informal visits with students, a tour of the
Medical School and GWU Hospital, and presentations on Financial Aid and
the Student Opportunities Office. Lunch will be provided.

Ha! I'll see you there booswim!

I kind of got the impression that the email was all they were giving us. I looked up most of the other stuff on my own. Plus my parents decided to make a sightseeing trip of it since my mom has never been to DC (Thank goodness too! Its the only part of the process they're helping me pay for but with the prices of hotels in the area its the one I needed most). So I'll be in the area the whole week before and plan to make sure I know exactly where I'm going.

Are you guys early decions, I didn't realize regular applicants were getting interviews so early?

Regular applicant.

If you take the Metro to the interview, go to the Foggy-Bottom/GWU metro stop (Blue/Orange lines). When you get out of the station, take a right off the escalator and an immediate right onto a pavillion. The medical school will be on your left. Once you go in the main doors, the security guards can point you in the right direction. (The library is in the left hallway, on the left hand side.)

I received the e-mail invite this afternoon. My interview is scheduled for mid-October. I haven't received anything via snail mail yet.
