Im gonna major in pharmacy.. haha how about anyone??

Based off just your grades alone you stand a chance at USP (I feel) although the physics grade is not on par with the rest of your record. What is your ACT/SAT score?

oh.. my act score is

English - 23
Reading 19
Math - 33
Science 25

I am thinking of taking toefl this december.
However, I dont know if USP will look at it.
I think my decision will come out before i take toefl.

If it is a 25, then this site: http://www.loveland.k12.oh.us/lhs/guidance/DaveHarris/ACTSATConversionScale.html says a 25 is 1130-1160 on the old SAT. The admissions office wants to see PharmD candidates with atleast a 1140 (minimum). However, last year's class 50th percentile was around a 1250ish on the old SAT.

b/c i was sick freshman year and had to get surgeries.
So, I coudlnt attend..

I would still apply though but don't expect them to say yes, they might, just don't expect it because Rutgers Pharm is VERY competitive.

How many times have you taken the ACT? Do you think you can improve? I bet you can definitely bring your English and Reading up a bit... it would help to make you a bit more competitive. It also might be a good idea to write a note explaining your Physics grade to perspective colleges... it seems like you're good in math, why is it giving you trouble?

I'm not familiar with those colleges, but I'll probably apply to 5 schools (3-5 is the recommended amount) I would make sure to always have a good fall back school just in case.

Rutgers is more competetive than USP. And I still don't give you high chances at USP.

i have a question.
when I went to AACP, the site gave me a list of 0+6 pharm schools.
However, i know some of them changed to 2+4.
As of right now, what are the 0+6 pharmacy schools?

Its not over, you just need to practice for the SAT and improve your score. You also didn't give us extracurriculars, either.

Basically, there isn't enough information to make a decision. That said, bring the ACT up and you should have a shot. Regardless, I believe USP is waiving the application fee ($50 or something) through December. Call admissions, tell them you want to apply, but what you should do regarding retaking the ACT.
