Hi friends,

I am in the process of applying to westcoast schools right now.
I landed in california when I came to US and stayed there for 8 months and later moved to texas(client`s place of my husband)and I am here in texas from last november. Now I am moving back to california after my part-2 exam next month back to california.

Now in my application what should I write....am I a cali recident or a texas recident?????We filed the taxes last year for the state of california 😕 .
how can I manage them giving the permanent adress as we r moving very shortly but I donot have the adress of the new appartment we gonna take. Can I give my uncle`s adress and will it be a problem????
ohhhh really application process is a big pain in the neck....... 🙁

please suggest me and thanks in advance.

For IDP matters state residency isn't that important, you'll pay out state residency no matter what. Go ahead and list a permanent and safe address where you know you'll get you mail and it won't get lost when you move, like your uncle's address.

I don't know how the law applies in this, but I think you need to be residing in a state for 1 year before beign able to claim residency. I don't know about this matter for sure tough, contact an official departement and find out.
