HI! frens

I am new in this forum.I have few questions .pls. help me.
1.I have collected asda-test packets,dental decks2001,review notes of kaplan vol1 and 2 ,NBDEpart 1examn keys with explanation and 2004 NBDE pilot paper .thats all i have no text book is it enough for the part 1nbde?

2. I have just moved here at nyc, so have not done anything with my certificate at ece,am I too late for this near future application and very confused about cbt and pbt for july it seems too late?????or wait till december?

3.can I be able to work as dental assistant at nyc,or do i have to pass any permit for that, where do I get that?


I am going through other threads but your guidence is needed again.... 🙂

well the questions uve asaked are very absic.. all info u need is already available on the forum.. all u need to do is do a search.
also everything is present in links of interest to the interantionally trained dentist.
anyway to answer ure question:
1. decks , asda , kaplan are adequate.... but if u can supplement topics u arnt sure of with text books it will be more beneficial for you...

2. ECe takes abut 4 weeks i think if u geta regular evaluation done.. they ahve various packages ...
u arnt too late... if u submit everythign to ECE now... u will get everything by june.. and then apply for part 1 .
u may be late in applying for PBT.. im not sure of the dates...
anyway CBT is there..
if u waste time till decemeber to give ure part 1 PBT.. u will loose this year.. better to study and give part 1 CBT as soon as possible..
u are not too alte.. i applied at teh same time last year... and got everythign done in time...
but i gave CBT

3. u can work only if u have a work permit.. that depends on ure visa status.. but u can always obserce at a dental clinic.. speak to dentists around you.. c what they ahve to say...

🙂 I am very glad to have your prompt reply now i know that its better to go for the general evaluation...i will do this now .here i am with Anatomy ...now i think i should read biochemistry too... side by side..

hi.. get a course by course done..
colleges accept course by course... only ADA wants general... plus Ada accepts course by course..
no need to spend double
