guys new exam is definitly tough , only 20-40% repeats with similar language and answ , rest was like have done it choices were new , pathology was entirely new and least repeated infact cant remeber any repeat in patho do clear ur concepts, at end of exam cant rember the ques cause it was mixed and am reALLY worried abt score

20-40% repeat itself is too much. Repeats don't test one's true knowledge and give unfair advantage to some.

What abt the testlets books? Some of the books were mentioned in the nbde reference texts. Some of the testlets are 1. Dental Functional Morphology: How Teeth Work 2. Dental Anatomy: Its Relevance to Dentistry.
Did any1 of you go through these books (for part 1) ?

sorry 4 replying late just came back home

it was not to discourage u guys just to tell u real deal so u do not depend solely on previous papers, u should b throuogh with them but gain as much as possible without going in too much detail esp pathology

and about repeats earlier it was 60-70%, so i think its quite fair this time with less repeats, but that puts us at disadvantage too cause we will b scoring less than people who would easily got 90 and above in old pattern.

hii....could you tell me what else i need to read up on besides anat physio biochem micro patho and da dh....?....what about the clinical scenario...where should gain knowledge regardin that from?...also ethics and pt managemt?..any other sources reqd besides kaplan, decks, previous papers?..do let me know....thanx a ton..

dont worry abt ethics , there were only 3 ques which i think even if u read from somewhere u will b wasting time cause they were wierd and god knows from which topic

testlets were mixed abt path ques and micro, just normal topics which we read but put up in new way
