High MCAT, average GPA with upward trend, two failed classes?

Hello. I'm a Canadian student in my third year of undergrad, but I'm in a weird situation. I think this is how it will play out:

1st year average: 3.3
2nd Year: 3.0
3rd Year: I have great marks this year, so hopefully 3.7+?

I've failed two classes: Organic Chemistry II and Cardiac Physiology. I can retake these, get the credit, and get the higher mark factored into my GPA.

My MCAT: 38.

How tough will it be for me to get into medical school? MD or DO, any is fine.

IF you can ace the last year of UG, then you can show what your true promise is. Your early performance can be overcome by a strong rising trend. Grade replacement only works for DO schools. MD schools will avg the Fs with the higher grades.

I'm curious, how do you get 95th percentile on the MCAT and fail organic? Genuinely curious, is it a time management issue that caused you to fail it?
To answer your q, that score will forgive your shortcoming if you can retake and keep the grade in the A range.
