If I applied to high point at the beginning of September and still haven’t heard anything about an interview should I just go ahead and give up? I see things on here about people getting interviews after 1 week and it’s been nearly 2 months.

Have you tried reaching out to them to see where they are when it comes to reviewing you application? It probably took High Point around 3 weeks or so to invite me for an interview.

Yeah I did at the beginning of October and all they said was it was still under review

Then I wouldn’t lose hope just yet. Still being under review isn’t a rejection! Did you apply to any other programs?

I have the same issue. I applied at the end of July and got a confirmation that my application was verified on August 1st. I'm probably going to reach out as I have started hearing from other schools, but nothing from them.

I’ve emailed a few times, each time getting the same response about my application being complete and under review. Since it’s been so long I’m basically going to take it as a rejection since I’ve heard of people getting interview invites just a few days after their application was verified.

I interviewed at High Point a little bit ago and it was awesome. They do one group interview and one individual interview which are both very casual. They also give a tour of the entire campus and the facility, and the facility is super nice! Honestly, I would have gone there if it wasn't for the price. It was pretty preppy considering it is a private school in NC.

Hey! My interview was on 11/18 and I got an acceptance via email on 12/3. As of right now, the class still has around 1/3 of its seats still open

According to the student handbook, tuition is estimated to be around $125K for the entire program

If it makes you feel better, I’m in the exact same position! Applied in August, haven’t heard anything other than my app is still being reviewed. But as of right now, no news is good news to me.

There is some information about clinical affiliations under "collaborators" on the department website. It's not super specific on affiliations outside of the hospital network, but it does have some logistical information. If you need more information than that, I would try emailing grad admissions about it.

So that would mean that the cost of years 2/3 drop in comparison the year 1? Year 1 was like $45k so that spooked me because I assumed it was the same every year following that..
