I read previous threads about including high school awards in the Amcas, and that the general consensus is that you do not want to include high school stuff unless it was important to you and your personal growth, etc.
Well, I participated in state wide art competitions in high school and received 1st place. And I continued doing art-related activities throughout college and co-directed an art exhibit in my senior year.
So I was wondering if it would be fit to include my high school art award, because art has been continuously important in my life...

Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance!

Maybe mention it briefly in a description, but don't list it on its own.

I agree that it's reasonable to include as part of an (presumably) Artistic Endeavors entry that shows your progress in involvement and responsibility over time.
