  1. Pre-Dental
I'm a high school junior and I've taken all honors classes and one AP class, so far. I've never had lower than a 3.2 on my record since freshman year, most of the time my GPA was about a 3.57. I want to go to college in Texas (not sure what city yet) Then I want to go to dentistry school.

What courses should I take next year to better myself and chances of getting into an out of state university. Are my grades good enough? Should I take the SAT?

AP classes are nice but won't necessarily help in terms of admissions to an undergrad. Take classes that you will do well in that don't appear to be blow-off classes. Not much of the material will prep you for college. Languages do, and science/math can if well taught.

SAT is a personal choice I have no real idea about Tx school but most in the midwest are where ACT is sufficient. Do well on it to improve chances at admission and (more importantly I would argue) scholarships.

Community service always helps and never hurts too.
