High school diploma?

I was recently in an argument regarding a high school diploma. He was saying that most dental school except a GED. Can any one confirm this? Most of the school's websites do not mention this. I personally think it is bogus.

I doubt they would even care about anything that had to do with high school once you've been through your tough science classes at a decent university.

That's non sense! If they want mine, I have to go to Venezuela which is almost a communist country. I'll need to go around with a gun and a bodygard becuase the country is not safe at all. If a school wants my diploma so bad, I'll make them go get it themselves 🙄

I have been at 3 universities so far, and never been asked about my diploma.

YES IS DOES! Schools like UCLA require you to submit a high school transcript.

High school should not even matter. Your university education is all that should matter. I think if someone got a GED and then did great at university, that would be a major plus in my book.

At risk of splitting hairs, that's not the same as requiring a diploma.

a new haircut or switching to a better shampoo will eliminate split ends and keep your hair healthy.

so although most school don't require a high school grad (as opposed to GED) some still look at your academic records as far back as high school. Point: high school grade do matter, even for dental school application.
