Hello all. I was getting ready for the AMCAS and my advisor said something about being able to list high school dual enrollment courses when inputting courses for calculating GPA. To preface, these are dual enrollment courses I took at my highschool, not at the university, and the credits were not accepted by the school I currently attend, so they are not on my transcript (I didn’t attend the school I took the dual enrollment courses through). My question is, do I have to list these courses? I was able to find my account and check my transcript, and they’d actually harm my current undergraduate GPA. I haven’t even thought about my highschool courses until today when they were mentioned, and checking, I guess I didn’t do as great as I originally thought in high school. Let me know!

Yes you need to list them even if your college didn’t accept them for transfer credit.
Request the transcript directly from the college or community college where you earned the credits, to be sent to AMCAS.
It will be clear from the timeline that these were done when you were a HS student and your upward trend will be seen also

This may be peak level neuroticism, but I calculated my GPA including high school and attached an image below. My science GPA prior was a 4.00 but now is a 3.98. Would this have any effect on my application? Sorry for such a silly question, just thought I should ask.

AMCAS will recalculate it using their standard GPA point system
Do not waste one more second on this needless perfectionism
