Hi there, new member here! I'm a rising HS senior who is hoping to do something productive (and pharmacy-related) this summer. So far, I've asked various hospitals, independent clinics, and chain stores, but no dice. I'm in the LA South Bay area, if that helps.
So I was wondering, do you guys know of any programs/places that take high schoolers? I'm hoping for this to be an everyday shadow/unpaid internship thing, from the morning until the early afternoon...does such a thing exist? If it doesn't, then could you suggest any pharmacy-related activities I could do long term this summer (and hopefully carry on into the school year)?
And how should I go about asking? Would it be better if I asked in person or over the phone? Everyone that I ask in person refers me to the company's website (which never has any relevant information) and everyone I ask over the phone never gets back to me 🙁
