So I unexpectedly worked out a T writing sample.
Does this mean anything for me at all.
I do think I have a solid PS and such.
Can this help my lower than expected verbal score.

Basically, why is this on the exam anyway?

Might help a little, probably won't make up for a low verbal though.

No one really knows, but I think it will ease concerns about your verbal ability to some degree... how much exactly, who knows. I remember hearing here that schools pay attention to extremely high or extremely low writing scores.

M here, no issues.

Lol - I'm not sure either. I had an R on my first MCAT and an O on my second. I really doubt that was my problem during the cycle.

I had an interviewer ask me what the heck the letter was at the end of the score. He had been on the committee for at least five years too. I thought that was pretty funny.

Maybe. Most people have no idea how the writing section is scored. It won't help as much as a high numerical score would, but a high writing score can't hurt either.

I too had an interviewer ask what the letter was. I really don't know how someone doing this for so long could not know
