Can you highlight on the actual DAT? Just for RC? How does one highlight on the DAT RC? Do the online Bootcamp RC practice tests use the highlight feature, and how does one highlight on Bootcamp? Thanks!
Thanks for clarifying I was curious the exact process as well. You can highlight on the real DAT. In your 10min tutorial before the exam starts it explains all of the features available during the test.
The highlight function is essentially just like how you "copy and paste" on your computer. If I recall correctly when you select the text you will have to click a button that will highlight the words.
You can only highlight when you are presented with the entire text in the beginning. When you begin answering questions you will see your highlighted text but will not be able to highlight more. You will have to return to the entire passage and continue to highlight there.
When I used Bootcamp up through april, it did not have a highlight function. I do not know if this has changed with the new update.
Best of luck!
I checked BC RC update, and I believe right now, for RC, you can highlight the passage wherever you want, not limited to the entire passage in the beginning. Like you can highlight while reading the questions, Isn't it?
From what I heard recently from one person who took DAT in July 30ish, 2017, you can highlight anytime. So, basically same as Bootcamp.Yes, in BC you could highlight while on the questions. So on the real DAT, can you only highlight in the beginning, or did they change it to highlight anytime?
