My funniest one was lidocaine; apply topically to vulvar area before intercourse.
What really surprises me is that people can actually write those scripts, not proof-read themselves and just hand it off to patients like that... 😕
I think Viagra and Revatio can both be used for PAH, although Revatio has the FDA indication. Viagra can be more cost effective, depending on the dose.

Well... back pain can certainly be heart related, so it's not entirely ridiculous.i had a worker's comp patient come in with a script for viagra for back pain. we even called his md on it, but we only spoke with the receptionist (md wasn't there). she said that it was accurate. i guess with the added weight in the front, it'll help balance his back? 😕
worker's comp did not go for it though.
