(forgive me if this is already a thread topic, but I am unable to find any...)

I am looking for advice from current NPs and/or the physicians who employ NPs.

How long before/after graduation from my program should I apply for my first NP job? I'm sure this can be dependent on what type of practice setting, and how long you are willing to wait for the NP to start, ect... but any general advice would be appreciated.

You should start applying around the time you take your certification exam, why would you wait?
