So are there any special Histo resources besides some generic textbooks? I’ve heard of that sketchy website before?

I used histologyguide.com occasionally during first year. It's basic, but not bad.

I don’t know if shotgun histology still exists but that helped me a lot back in the day. And it was free which was a definitely plus.

A couple of universities have super comprehensive sites with tons of resources and quizzes. The one coming to mind is Histology at Yale
