What's the best way to study for the Histo shelf exam (NBME)? I'm currently using Histo and Cell bio BRS and class notes. I found that Histology Pre Test was way too difficult and made me to frustrated to continue. Will the BRS book prepare me enough to take the exam if I know everything in there?

I passively reviewed the BRS review book and i got an 86. U need to know all the tables and charts cuz they will test u on the details. Make sure u know where spectrin binds. Also make sure u know ur renal slides, they tested heavily on the renal cells, what they look like and what their functions are.

Make sure u go to the NBME website. They have like 5 sample questions and they all appeared on my test!

The Histo miniboard will be the easiest one you probably take. Just read the BRS. It is so elementary.
