Could really use some help in histo.

I got my copy from whatever med school it is that employed the guy who made it. I believe the school was somewhere in the midwest. As I recall, I had to call their bookstore and order it by phone. Also, I know GW uses it so they might have copies available at their bookstore as well. Sorry I can't be more helpful but maybe that will give you a start.

Edited to point out that it is in fact a great resource but the program looks like it was made in 1988. Using it takes me right back to my macplus.

Well it has a good bit more pictures than Wheater's. 5000 with Histo Time compared to around 900 with Wheater's. I found it pretty useful but what I did to offset the price was split the cost with 4 of my classmates and we all shared it. So if you can do something like that then I would recommend it but otherwise probably not worth the money as you can find several websites with histology slides just through a simple Google search.

Youtube has a user called "Shotgun Histology" (just type it in the search). Basically a step by step analysis of all kinds of different slides you'll see under scope by a pathologist teaching medical students. It was very helpful for me to get a good review of slidework, and taught me a few things (heck, a lot of things) that were applicable to written examinations.
