hmm question about LECOM

So I just got an email from LECOM saying that my application is complete, however I am deficient in a couple of prerequisites that I got a C- in. Is that their way of saying...your grades in these prerequisites suck, therefore we're rejecting you....or do they still look at your whole application and give you time to improve? I'm kind of annoyed at the fact that they don't take into account what kind of school you went to!! MAN this sucks!!

Well, I was under the impression that you had to have at least a C in pre-requisites in order to matriculate into a med school.

it didnt matter two years ago i had some C-. they still look at your application. I was even accepted early

that makes me feel a little better. I mean I knew I had some crappy grades since I made the very horrible choice of deciding to go to Penn for undergrad, which is why I'm taking time off and working while taking some post bac classes (not in the program, but just taking the classes) to boost up my GPA. But if they were gonna hold me to a couple of C- I got my freshman year and ignore the hard work since, I was going to have a panic attack. Thank you JonnyG...your input calms me a little.
