i interviewed there last week, but i didn't get a letter like this beforehand. maybe they had a big influx of apps at once and wanted to assure their stronger candidates that their file would be reviewed? i can only speculate.

if someone is a stronger candidate, they wouldnt hold them, theyd invite them. i personally felt that im a strong candidate, oh well.

wow, whereas I agree, it doesn't look good to arrive late, you certainly didn't plan it that way. it's hard to guessitmate how long it takes you for a 5.5 to 6 hr drive; anything could happen on the way. I would have gone the night before because I'd be too nervous worrying if I'd be late. That was a horrible thing the admissions dept did and especially for a new school. You should have reported them to Mr B; he sounds like a great and supportive person (based on this thread). You seem to have a great attitude and therefore i believe you will make it to mked school and be a successful doctor. All the best. god bless you.

Awww...thx....Yeah....I'm definitely going to leave the night before for NOVA...especially since it's a good school with a great reputation and I'd be honored to be a student there... 🙂

Thanks Psycho Doctor for your comments...I did email Dr. B as well...but I have no hard feelings or grudges...God will place me in the place that I need to be...and obviously...it was NOT there....but best wishes to anyone else who plans to attend there 🙂. I wish them much luck...in the admissions process.
