So I Just Found Out I Was Placed On Hold At Two Places. Is This The Same As Being Waitlisted? I Interviewed Already At These Places. It Sounds Like They Can't Make Up Their Mind About Me!

Welcome to the club! I was put on "hold" by two schools, but it was before any interviews. So, I don't know if it is the same thing or not. Luckily I got accepted by the school I wanted to got too the most! Hope things work out for ya.

Dude, thanks for your help (NOT). Anyway, congrats.

If you were put on hold after you were interviewed, that pretty much sounds like a waitlist position to me.

Call and ask. It sounds like a waitlist, but the only way to tell for sure is to ask them exactly what that means.

i've heard of schools putting applicants on accept hold post-interview because of things like missing pre-reqs or credit insufficiencies, things like that. usually it can be addressed, you should call and find out exactly what it means.
