I've encountered several problems on DAT Bootcamp PAT exams where the paper is folded into the page rather than out. However, in Princeton Review's Cracking the DAT (2012) they clearly state that "the paper is always folded toward you".

For anyone who has taken the DAT or is well-aware - should we expect these types of questions on the real DAT? I'd just like to be prepared in case they show up on my exam. Thanks!

I haven't encountered any of bootcamp that fold into the page. I rarely get any wrong on the hole punch section also.

That's weird I've come across multiple questions that fold into the page. Here's one example:

Oh yeah, on bootcamp there's a bunch of em, haven't taken the real thing yet though so not sure. They might be a little tougher so its good practice regardless.

They can show up on the real DAT, you'll see an example of it in the 2009 practice test. We just want to expose you to them so you aren't stumped on test day, once you know what's happening they're pretty easy to solve.

Anything is possible, but I think the 'into the page' fold from the 2009 test was just an error. I actually remember talking about this in my predental club and the consensus was no-one had ever heard of someone having this on the real test (anecdotal, small sample size however). End of the day, probably good to be able to recognize it just in case, but I'm not personally too worried about it showing up
