Hole punching folding under (into the screen)

I came across a Bootcamp PAT hole punching question that has a fold into the screen. Does the real DAT have folds like that? I thought that one of the rules of the hole punching section is that all folds go out of the screen.

If I'm not mistaken, that rule only applies to PF.

Sometimes the fold will go into the screen on the hole punching section. You can see an example of this in the 2009 DAT.

I don't see how folding into the screen changes the answers. Could someone confirm? I had a question on the PAT 2nd test on BC that involved in screen folding. I approached it the same way if it were to be folded out of the screen and I got the same answer.

I am pretty sure qvault free PAT test has some "back folds" in them

You're right, the direction in which the paper is folded should not affect your answer.
