Ok, so if this is the dumbest post you've ever read I apologize but I just wanted some honest opinions. I felt I did well on my DAT but as I looked at the percentiles I got alittle concerned. I really don't know the break down of the DAT like most even though I've taken it. Please let me know if I should be concerned with any percentile sections or the overall scores. Lastly, what do you think my chances are?

DAT 2011 Breakdown:

PAT : 20 (73.8 %)
QR: 19 (83.5%)
RC: 19 (53.2%)🙁
BIO: 20 (86.5%)
GCHEM: 20 (75.5%)
OCHEM: 23 (93.4%)
TS: 21 (90.3%)
AA: 20 (83.7%)

Overall GPA: 3.86
SCI: 3.75

Thanks for your opinions! The reading is what I'm most concerned about but you tell me what you think.

Great scores, don't worry about the percentiles... schools don't see those. You are in great shape especially with your awesome gpa. you should definitely be landing interviews. goodluck

are you a troll??

of course you did well

let us know what schools you got in to 🙂

I'm serious, don't forget to post them in here next year!

Well I figured I did pretty good, but while I was reading some other posts I saw some negative comments on percentiles and to be honest I know nothing about that.

Your lowest is a 19, your GPA is super high you got this in the bag!

Normally if your GPA wasn't too high you want a stellar DAT score so the university knows you have academic aptitude. If your GPA is already fairly high you just want DAT scores that won't raise red flags. If you got a 16 in RC or something like that you'd have reason to worry. As it stands, assuming you have decent extra curricular activities, you'd be a strong applicant to most schools. Congrats and well done!

If you think you can do better, then why not rewrite?

I would avoid focusing on the percentiles. They only show how you did in that particularly cohort only.
