Honestly, how many hours have you put into your board study?

I will go first and say that maybe I have put 20-22 hours in. I plan on putting another 4 today and tomorrow adn then taking thursday off. My test is on friday, the 9th, so in total I plan on around 30 hours. 😱

I am interested in hearing how many hours the rest of you have put in?

More than 200 at this point. I only did one hour yesterday, but I've already done 5 today.

It takes a long time for things to stick with me. More hours doesn't equate to a higher score.

I'm nearly positive that you'll get a higher score than I will. I simply don't test very well.

223 and counting. At this point I feel like I don't know a thing. I always get like that right before a test. Everything gets jumbled and I just know I wont be able to keep anything straight. Everytime I open my netter it amazes me how much i don't know.

yeah i am the worlds slowest learner and it takes a lot of time to get stuff in. so far i have clocked in 245 actual study hours. i take it monday july 12th. i plan on getting to 300 total study hours. i am not counting hours of the day i eat and surf the web. like i said i am slow... or just to stupid to admit that i wont do well no matter how much i force feed myself. good luck all.

I think about 8 so far. I think I will spend about that much more time before monday. So a grand total of 16hrs. My plan is to go through the decks once a old test in each subject and that is all she wrote. I took a Biochem/phys and an anatomy test and scored in the low 80's on both so I think that once is enough for me

I here you anamod! I spent 14 hours on gross! Then about 4 hours on all the other sections. Gross burnt me out!!!!!!!! Just let me get a 76!!!!!!!

As far as Anatomy goes, just take comfort in the fact that it really isn't anatomy--it's anatomic sciences.

You'll notice that there actually are relatively few gross questions on the exam. And it seems most of those questions are related to cranial nerves in some aspect.

I finished up Biochem/Phys yesterday and am doing Micro/Path today and tomorrow. I went back and did a couple exams yesterday from Biochem/Phys and I seemingly have forgotten quite a bit of what I once knew a month ago. 🙁

I'm with c132 and Anamod in that studying for the mock boards and real boards I've so far only spent about a dozen hours. I intended to study this whole week but I slacked off yesterday and today isn't looking too promising either! Ah well, theres always tomorrow. 🙂

OH MAN I AM SICK OF STUDYING GUYS...................someone just put me out of my misery!!!!!!!!!!

It's gotten to the point where I am thoroughly confused after studying a million subjects that all run together somewhat............I can't possibly go through the material again........and I'M STILL FREAKED OUT BY THE TESTS WHEN I DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER....WHICH IS A LOT OF THE TIME by the way.

Sigh. When will this be over?? Not soon enough. Oh, how I need a vacation. Please just let me get a 76% 😀

Did I mention that I have Denture Repair Block at 7:45 AM sharp the next day?? 😡

I am getting worse since I studied! I started off avg around 60 right in biochem and micro before studying, that was on the 98 and 95 exam, then as I do the older ones, I keep going downhill!!!!!!!!! MAN whats going on. I think I am having on of those brain farts! 😱

I'm telling ya, stay away from those older exams. 😀

But I'm getting tired as well. I finished my micro/path review today, and will be doing dental anatomy Thurs. and Friday.
