So recently, I was selected to be part of my university's Honor Council. Basically, other undergrads and grad students listen in on cases that have violated the Honor Code at our university (usually involves cheating and stuff of that sort). Would that be a good experience to put on my application when I apply to medical school? Does it sound stupid? I don't know, there isn't much information anywhere online about being ON the council.

Idk this was years ago but I listed it and it was useful. It was a nice answer to those questions of “tell us about a time you did something hard” or something to that effect.

Just be sure to be honest and respectful about your time on the council. I was very clear that our goal was to teach and lead the student body, not to penalize or play police officer
