Hope to not do it..... will try really hard not to.

Our anatomy prosectionist (i.e., one of the instructors) ended-up marrying a student in my class...

Go figga.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree, monkey.

I'm marrying my Living Anatomy partner in about 4 months.

Sad, cheesy as hell, but true. What can I say, it's true geek love.

Generally speaking, the best advice is:

"Don't date within the sandbox. 'Cause if it goes sour, it's not as if you can leave the sandbox, you know?"

Many a marriage has started this way -- then again, many more bitter awkward dissection sessions have also started this way.

i don't see anything really wrong with it in general.......but having any kind of romantic moment around a cadaver just sounds WRONG to me. So keep it out of the lab, and I say its fine

Or, less elegantly, "don't **** where you eat."

That's right up there with dating urologists and ob/gyn's.

oh shut up. you know that the whole reason you go to anatomy to begin with is to try and get to know your partner(s) a lil better..

hahaha

My uncle and his now wife met across the cadaver way back. Still together.

But I agree, don't get involved with someone you can't avoid later on.

do it...good things are bound to come from it. 🙄

What's so special about dating in anatomy lab? Dating happens all the time across classes, lectures, residencies, and etc.

Keep your anatomical wanderlust confined to the lab. Trust me, it just ain't worth it.

I'm not saying that I'm opposed to the idea, I'm just opposed to the idea with any of my lab mates...

The circumstances are slightly more "creepy" in some people's eyes, I guess (i.e., you are trying to get your mack on around a cadaver).

Gosh, NO! 👎 👎 I have not had one good conversation with my anatomy lab partners since that class ended.

Innevitable?
No, no, no! Especially not if he is a gunner. :meanie:

I could never ever do it! 👎 😍 👎

No way in He11! 😉

Definitely not going to be hooking up with the anatomy partners, though I don't necessarily see anything wrong with it.

Personally, I'm not into dating people I go to school with. I need time away from school, and I can't imagine I'd get that by dating anyone from school.

Where do you find people to date outside of school?

i wouldn't hook up anyone in my class, but there are some cuties in the year below me

I initially read this as "... but there are some cuties that can blow me."

The same places non-medical students find people to date.

I don't want to date someone else who is going to be a doctor. I kind of know the type too well at this point. Not to say that I couldn't meet someone who surprises me and changes my outlook, but its not going to happen with anyone in my anatomy lab group.

Well, all my anatomy partners are girls so I don't think this would be an issue for me (paws is a girl too!). Altho, one of our TA's is pretty dishy ... I wouldn't say no to him ! 🙂

I got a geek love story, too. I met my fiancee at a Chemistry Club meeting! LOL!! 😀

I married my Histology partner.

I resent the comment about the dating urologists and gynecologists

My wife is an ob/gyn.

When you meet the person you love, it doesn't matter where or how. It will just feel right.
