I got my scores in the mail yesterday from the step 2 (took it 11/30) and was delighted to find that I got an 88/223. (Got 83/205 on the step 1). Anyway, I had my doubts whether I would pass or not since 1) I graduated from medical school 5 years ago and 2) I only started learning English a few years ago. and 3) I work full time and have a new baby at home. I used Crush the Boards and practiced with the Mock Exam by Brochert and the NMS questions. I studied maybe a few hours a week for the year up to the exam and then about an hour every day for a few months ahead of the test and then 4-5 serious hours per day in the 3 weeks leading up to the exam. Anyway, if I can do it (and I'm not particularly brilliant or driven), I'm sure all of you studying for the test will do great.
Good luck!

Great job! I totlally agree- I loved Crush The Boards and the NMS practice book. Glad to hear you did so well- what a nice way for you to start the new year!

My exam is in 3 weeks and I started last week.
That is an awful lot more studying than the fedback that I have gotten.
Do you think 4 weeks of about 3 hours/day is enough?

Thanks

Congrats, Dobiecka. With all that stuff to deal with, that's an awesome score!

Thanks for all your congratulations!

Jordan, I think that 3 weeks is not a lot of time, but it totally depends on how prepared you are going in and how efficient your studying is (I guess that's obvious, isn't it?). Anyway, if you're reading this now - get back to your books! Good luck!
