Hope for more interviews?

Hi all,

I have interviewed at two schools so far and received acceptances from them. However I have not heard anything back, other than the generic "your application is under review" from the 7 other schools I applied (got a supplement from Maryland, UColorado,USC,ULouisville,OHSU,NYU, and a few others).

Both Maryland and USC are top choices of mine so is it worth holding out hope that I receive an interview from them eventually/how realistic is it that they will be giving out more interviews?

Don't feel bad. Most schools are interviewing until the end of February. I probably have 12 schools under review.

Not sure. Myself and many others who interviewed pre-Dec have been left in the dust with no word or anything. That doesn't mean they aren't still interviewing, but I'm not sure if that is a great sign.

I've got a Maryland interview scheduled for Feb 2nd. I got the invite on Jan 14th, so I think there might still be some hope

I interviewed at Maryland on December 9 and literally got invited to that interview at 4pm on December 7th lol. Don't lose hope, there is a ton of shifting going around at every school so you really never know what to expect or when to expect it!
