Hoping for an interview

anyone else just hoping for the first II to come soon, just to know that there isn't a huge red flag in their app? LizzyM of 70 with no II's yet, starting to get anxious. I know its super early but seeing II's at schools I applied to go to people complete after me never helps the situation.

Heres to positivity and hope that my first one will come soon! I'm wishing the best of luck to everyone else in this situation. Take a break from SDN, go out and do something you love, and take your mind off of the cycle. It is just ONE part of your life right now and there is no need to worry about things outside of your control. We have all put in the hard work, the time, and the effort and soon enough we'll all have our time. Happy Tuesday guys, stay positive!

Exactly! This place is corrosive and inflammatory, but I can't stay away! We really shouldn't start to worry until August rolls around. And yes, stay positive and heres to the best!

I was complete in late august-early sept due to my committee letter and got interview invites in the fall and a second round in the spring.

I got one interview invite the week before the school stopped interviewing, so super last minute (and it took some pestering!), but that school accepted me outright.

Point being. It's way too early to worry.

I was complete day one at pretty much all the schools I applied to. I got my first MD II on August 12th.

There are a lot of applicants. It takes time. It's pretty much out of your hands at this point, so stop checking your email incessantly and enjoy the summer. Life will be a lot more enjoyable if you sorta forget about the process for the time being, so you can be pleasantly surprised when the invites do roll in. No need to panic until January or February.
