so i have a bad test story. i was a guinea pig on Prometric's first ever satellite test center. yeah, so i took my DAT on the back of an 18-wheeler trailer that they parked behind a hotel (shady). adding insult to injury, it was drizzling and hazy, so the administrator said she couldn't download my test from the test center, so i sat under a tent they provided for a good hour or so. when i went to the bathroom (small toilet on the truck) during the break, i was certain other people right outside taking the test could hear me pissing (uncomfortable.....).

i just read on the pre-dent section someone was on reading comp section when a small earthquake hit, ouch.

do you have a story?

The back of an 18 wheeler? Why on earth would you agree to that?

i actually took my DAT on elephant back while firing arrows at premeds

haha

OP, that was very brave of you to volunteer for that. I wouldn't have. I'm sorry it didn't work out as planned. Did your scores turn out ok?

My horrible story had nothing to do with the testing center, it was just me. I was incredibly sick when I took the DAT. Long story short, I have a horrible migraine problem. I get severe migraines that I take meds for, but there is only a 15 minute break during the DAT, which is not long enough to be able to eat enough food so that my migraine meds won't make me sick. I just had to deal with it. So the moral of the story is to make sure that you are prepared for any situation and switch meds if they make you sick 👍😀

please note, i did NOT volunteer for this. just by chance i guess....i registered late, this test center was closest (like 35 min. away) that had openings, and it said it was a hotel, not the shady back lot of a hotel haha. regardless, i ended up doing pretty well. lesson learned: be prepared for every situation. you can prepare yourself (study) as much as you want, but there are circumstances beyond your control, yes, even on test day!

Oh man that's so funny. I was at the library when I read this and just started to laugh so hard. I need to get out of this library.....

Oh well then, that makes you sound less crazy.
