Hi all!
For an interview at Case, would you suggest staying in a hotel or with a host? I can think of pros and cons to each. Any advice?

I stayed in the hotel and it's really nice (the room has two TV's!!). But a host could be good too since you'd probably learn more about the school that way.

I'm going with a host so I can be in better touch with students and really see the community.

My host at Case wasn't bad, though the couch he put me on was fairly uncomfortable. This is the risk one takes with student hosts I suppose. We did end up playing Super Mario Kart all night after the first day. Apparently, they do that more than study. Me, I work out more than study.

I think that was one of the screwy schools where I stayed in the hotel one night and had a host the second night. But, the hotel for both then and the second look was pretty nice. My old boss, who was a grad student at Case, was impressed they put us up there.
