Hi,
I have an interview comming up at Omaha, NE at UNMC. The hotel (Marriot) they suggest costs me 138 dollars per night. Any affordable options for a poor medical student?
Thanks

There are some hotels on 72nd street right off I-80 that would be pretty economical. If you are flying in and want to stay downtown since it is between the airport and UNMC, then I would suggest priceline for the best deal. Also, there are some hotels by the airport but they might actually be more expensive just because of location (Country Inn & Suites - Carter Lake, Sleep Inn - Carter Lake, and Wingate are the ones I know about). Also, you can check out sidestep.com to see the best listed prices, and then use google maps to get driving directions from the hotel address to UNMC. I do this for just about all my interviews. Omaha isn't huge, you can really stay almost anywhere and still be within about a 20 to 25 minute drive to UNMC.
