I may be nuts, but in '06 I got my housing off Craigslist. I found a house full of med students, one of which was leaving for a month to do a rotation out of state so he rented me his room while he was away. It was actually a ton of fun. I learned how to play Texas Hold 'me from his roommates.

Its for med students and you should be able to find a furnished place on campus

Texas Hold Me? Thought the state was far more conservative than that. I did Craigslist for UTSW. Sure ol there are plenty of opportunities in Houston for 1 month housing.

The administrator also sends you some info with local housing options in a couple of the apartment complexes near campus after you are accepted for the rotation.
