hi everyone,

i hope all the interviews are going well and everyone is getting into their dream schools...for those of us making those final decisons and those of us who have...i think we should all start threads for our respective schools..and give each other advice, tips and whatnot on finding apartments etc around the schools.. who knows we may even find potential room mates? For example, I am going to UConn next fall, so any pointers from anyone about the farmington/hartford area would be great..so just start topics "Housing - Name of school"

Hi Neeky,

I'm headed to UConn as well. Have you checked into their student housing (condos across the street from the school)? DH and I are probably going to buy a condo just outside Farmington. It'll actually pay in the long run for us to buy instead of renting.

I agree with you all the way - you have a good idea. I'll be going to Case and looking for roomates and it would be nice to know more about the general area where I'll be living. I've put up a few posts with only one response. I don't know much about how this whole forum works to well yet so I hope i'm not crashing your party here. Indie rock all the way. MA - is that Maine or Mass?
