For those of you who have done electives in Houston, where did you live? Has anyone stayed in Favrot Tower at the Texas Medical Center? Are they any other places that students stay? I only need something for one month.

This is really right in the med center, not really sure if you are going to have a car, but parking might get expensive if it is not included.

There are many apartment complexes right around the med center and I see furniture rental come in and out. Might want to try the Lanesborough, Greenbriar, Maroneal, (there are all on free or cheap bus or light rail into the center) or do a search online and see how many do one month things (many places have shuttles into the TMC.) Maybe also Archstone Brompton. I would also consider emailing student affairs at the school and asking if they will send out an email to see if anyone is subletting. We get these emails occassionally from our school for MS4s visiting.
