Any body from Houston having advice for TSU or UH admission this fall?. GPA , PCAT, interview, personal statement, volunteer work, career, age, or anything I missed in this list.I finished prepahrmacy at TSU, GPA 3.84, PCAT 60%, volunteered six months so far, PTCB and registered texas pharm tech, not able to find a pharm tech job. Mother of a middle school child, cook, clean, shop everyday. Work once in a while. Shy person and have a little bit of accent! ( learned english by myself a few years ago) Please send me your advise especially related to personal statements. I appriciate any help.

Best of luck to you. I moved from Virginia to attend TSU Fall 2006 (pre-pharm), but had to return back to the east coast. I really wanted to attend UH, I had a friend in their pharm program...really good school. I use to work at the Walmart Pharmacy in Clear Lake. They are ALWAYS hiring...Check them out!

if you can, retake the PCAT. Sixty is a bit low. I think the average pcat for UH is above 80. And, make sure you have excellent letters of recommendation from 2 professors and a pharmacist.
