hi,

i'm recently accepted to loma linda university and am on the active consideration list for USC. my question is that since LLU does not participate in pharmCAS, do i need to withdraw my apps from other schools? and i've already put down the deposit, can i still be considered for USC?

yea of course you can still be considered for USC while accepting lomda linda. for the schools that you know you wont even go to because you would choose loma linda over them , then email the schools directly to withdraw your application. otherwise, leave it alone. you have Loma Linda as your backup. let it be until you hear from USC.
the only issue here is that if you get accepted to USC, you may have to withdraw from Loma linda before taking the USC offer.

if you absolutely sure that LLU is the school you want to attend then let USC know. Be considerate and don't waste people's time and effort.

I was wondering why you'd have to withdraw LLU's offer before accepting USC's.. I know you would have to withdraw LLU's eventually.. of course, but why is it imperative to do it in that sequence?

thanks for the helpful response!

i dunno, maybe you're right.. its not imperative. but wouldnt that look like double accepting schools in which gives either schools the right to withdraw the offer based on that? im looking at it from applying to college point of view. as i said, you "may" have to withdraw one school to accept the other. doesnt mean anything conclusively.
