I go to a school with systems based 2nd year and full 2 years of basic science.

At the moment I am studying from big robbins (I think so, we have subscription to E book version of Robbin and Contran's Pathologic basis of disease, or is it?) and Rapid review by Goljan

Basically i would read Goljan once then read Big robbins. Is this a good approach? How is everyone else approaching this?

I also have USMLErx but only plan to use it to study for exams, which hasn't come up yet.

We started systems towards the end of first year with cardio, renal, pulm. We're finishing up GI this week.

For the path, I read Medium Robbins first, prof powerpoint next, then rapid review (text and audio), then do webpath q's, then kaplan q's from their qBOOK, then rapid review q's (from the student consult website), and finally robbins qbook.

I've started reviewing biochem using kaplans biochem lecture notes. I try and cover about 1 chapter a day though some days it isn't possible.

My plan is to finish the kaplan biochem by end of october. After that, I'm actually not sure what to review from last year. Maybe some hematology or basic pathology?

I plan to get a qbank soon to practice along with classes and review stuff from last year.

We have a tough trimester coming up starting in November and until February because we will be covering Neuro. So that's why I want to try and review some material from last year now so I can focus on neuro.
