I have a feeling that Im posting in the wrong place, but oh well 😀
-How are applicants chosen for residency programs (what are the criteria)?
- Does it differ for Non-American & Non-Canadian Medical School Graduates (Saudi Arabia 😀)?
note: I will most likely have a Saudi National Guard/Royal Land Forces Scholarship in hand when Im done (it also means I'll lose 1 year to combat&comissioned officer training) ......does that tip the admissions scales in my favor?
-My dad did his residency program (a surgical specialty) in Canada, and says that nearly 1/3 of the surgical-specialty residents at the University were Gulf arabs (Kuwaiti, Saudi, Emirati, Qatari,etc.). Has that changed any?
