So heres the story i haven't found one like it yet when searching...

I took an algebra based physics course in high school through a college and i got A-/A for both semesters. When i got to college (even before) i was interested in physics...so i talked to the department to see what i should do. Now i took the algebra based physics course my junior year, they show up as transfer credits on my college transcripts but i have copies of the transcript from the school (and can request) to prove that i have those A's.

Now the department advised i go through the calculus based physics course, so i said fine since i have a good calc background. So anyways it ended up being much more difficult than i remmebered and i got a B+ in the class (actually im one of the 10/30 kids that "passed" the class)..i mean i didnt put in absolute study effort but i did put in decent amount of effort, i just had a lot of credits and i was trying to distribute my time to each subject.

But anyways, i cant say its unfair because i decided to take the class, and friends of mine from lab, who are in the algebra based physics, have the exams and work so easy (ive looked at it and can literally do most of them in my head)...so now im thinking ofcourse i can get a much better grade A+ or A the second part to balance it...but what happens to my A's that i took from high school?

Do all Four (algebra + calc based) semesters get averaged in? (if they do that would be great!) or do they only consider what i did in my college time and not the course i took in highschool at a college?

They're averaged, but not looked at the same. The courses you took at your undergrad institution are much more important.

I see, so when we talk average...would they average in this way:

Physics taken @ college in HS
Semester 1: 4crds : A-
Semester 2: 4crds : A

Physics calc taken at UG
Semester 1: 5crds : B+
Semester 2: 5crds : B+ (for example)

Averaging to: 3.3 Gpa for physics only?

And the physics "Grade" still applies even if it shows as "transfered" on the UG transcript am i correct?

Also if im retaking a class, that definately gets averaged right?
Ex:
Class 1 4 crds - B
Class 1 retake : 4crds - A

Avg - 3.5 ?

i thought adcom don't see individual grades from college courses taken while in high school. i thought they just see the gpa and # of credits?

All your grades show up from all your transcripts from all the courses you've ever taken. All the grades are included in your GPA, retakes as well.

I believe you need original transcripts from all institutions anyway, even if you did transfer the credits.

I think this should all be outlined in the AMCAS app help section on coursework and grades.
