I think I might end up with a C in one of my science classes due to starting out poorly in the year. How bad are C grades and how heavily do pharm schools look down upon those?
Is it one of your pre pharmacy courses?? If it is and you have good grades in your other courses then you should be ok. Might need to explain it at an interview if asked.
try beating 5 C's, 4 in the sciences. you should apply to USC. they seem to be a lil more forgiving than the other schools. all you need to work on is an upward trend in your grades and you should be fine.

i totally agree, one C wont kill you, just kick butt on other classes (sci and all) and you'll be fine. hey its human to not do well in a class. dude, i got 4 C-s in prereqs like 5 yrs ago and now i worked my butt off to repeat and do better in those classes. i still have hope and i think you'll do fine too.
Not to encourage to slack off, but it's not the end of the world. Some schools take into account the workload you had for that quarter or semester. Just make sure that your grades improve...at least by the time you graduate or apply.
