Hello
I am asking for this simple questions to some standards on DAT Destroyer.
Of course, everyone got different level of science education therefore it is impossible to think everyone has the same level of science knowledge, that's why we have to take DAT to prove our knowledge in science to dental schools.

Most of breakdowns complain about how DAT Destroyer destroyed your confidence and you were so screwed ans worried about it after studying DAT destroyer and blah blah blah

but what did you get?
and if you already took your DAT, what are your scores?
(don't say you posted it already. no body got time to check every post you posted on here. We are not stalkers. thanks)

I am getting

Ochem: 18/30 (Timed)
Gen chem: 17/30 (Timed)
Bio: 27/40 (TImed)
Math: 28/40 (Timed)

I haven't take DAT yet so I don't know and that's why I am worrying about my DAT Destroyer scores.
It will be impossible to actually connect DAT destroyer to DAT but it will give some people insight on what to expect or if they are doing well or bad or should give up and let me take their sit in dental school. :naughty:

Thank you in advance.

I did very well in OC my first time through. I probably got about ~60% right in bio my first time through and about ~35% right in GC. I went though it multiple times after, but I genuinely think I wasted my time with it. Chad, Cliff's, and Barron's AP got me where I needed to be. I made a 30 bio/29 OC/30 GC.

I averaged about 55% on ochem, 70% on g chem, 60% on bio first time through. Second time through I've seen a drastic increase in scores. I don't touch the math, rather, I've been plowing through math destroyer and getting about 25/40 on any given test.

Do not panic. Just make sure you carefully go over the solutions of the questions that you answered wrong in Destroyer. Then, go to your textbooks and do more questions on those topics. Afterwards, you should be fine.

I think I averaged ~55% on OC and Bio and ~65% for GC. On the real thing, I scored a 24OC, 23Bio, 28GC. On Math Destroyer, I ranged between 36/40 to 40/40 for all the tests but scored a 24QR. Hope this helps.

Hey man. Don't worry so much if you find yourself left clueless on many of the science questions. Dr Romano keeps in touch with his students and when he hears of unusual problems he notes them down and includes them in the next edition of the book. For basic knowledge (which is good for like 90-95% of the exam material) you don't need destroyer. But if you want to have your bases secured for those unusual problems that are fair game on the exam, you might wanna be familiar with destroyer.

I believe it's a misconception to think the destroyer is anywhere near reflective of the dat. The dat will not have as many unusual problems. I see it as review material more than actual practice material (which it is too).

You know what's a great deal for review? Chads quizzes. For $25 you get like 1000+ problems in all sections including angle ranking. I just got on those, recommended.

I've been making custom quizzes with chad's questions, trying to simulate the # and type of questions that may appear on the real thing. It's working well so far, but I haven't figured out if there is a way to create quizzes only from questions that you haven't seen in a while or recently got wrong. That would be a cool feature. 👍

Do you guys recommend purchasing all Chad's Gchem, Ochem and Math or did you just purchase sections that you struggled with? I have yet to start my studying but I am trying to gather/purchase all my materials. Thanks!
